If you have signed in to CATALYST® and are looking at the Dashboard, the link you used to access the system didn't direct you to the proper event submission page.
- Go back to the website for the event or organization and look for a link to start a new submission. The organizers could use any name for the link, such as "Call for Abstracts", "Submit a Proposal", etc. The link should take you to the correct page in CATALYST® with submission instructions, and buttons to start a new submission at the bottom of the page.
- If the link takes you to the CATALYST® Dashboard, or a page for the wrong event, the organizers may have used the wrong link. Please contact CATALYST Technical Support with the name of the event and the page where you found the incorrect link. We will investigate and have someone reach out to the event organizers to correct the link if necessary.
- If you have a submission in CATALYST® for the same event in a previous year, a link to the current event might be found on the right side of your Dashboard under "Suggested Events". This appears only if the event organizers elected to make the suggested link available.
CATALYST may be collecting submissions for hundreds of events at any given time, so each event submission page has its own unique link.
If the website address in your browser starts with "omnipresscatalyst.zendesk.com" or has the "Zendesk" branding
You are in the Zendesk technical support ticket system. This is not the CATALYST® submission system. A Zendesk account is not the same as a CATALYST® account.
- Please go back to the original website or email you used to reach the CATALYST® site and try clicking it again.
- The CATALYST® submission system web address will start with "catalyst.omnipress.com".
If you just created a new account
If you just created a new account and now only see an empty Dashboard:
- Go back to the original website or email you used to reach the CATALYST® system.
- Click the link to start a new proposal or submission again.
If you already created at least one submission
After creating your first submission for an event, you can create more submissions from several places:
- At the confirmation page after submitting, a link is provided to submit another.
- From your Dashboard, under My Events, find the event. Click "View All" and scroll to the bottom of the instructions to find your submissions and start a new one.
- From the original website or email you used to reach the CATALYST® system, click the link again to go to the event instructions and scroll to the bottom of the page.
If you are an invited speaker
If the event organizers provided speakers with existing, partially completed submissions to update, it is possible creating new submissions has been disabled. Please check with your event organizers directly.
Deadlines
You will not be able to create a new submission, or edit an existing one, if it is past the submission deadline.
- If you need to request an extension, please contact the event organizers directly.
- CATALYST Technical Support has no authority to extend deadlines, or create/complete submissions on your behalf.
